Overview
With the Therm-O-Type foil roll cutter you can stop wasting foil from your roll for smaller applications. Instead of using your full 24" wide roll, use this cutter to create a roll size of your desired width. The blade is completely adjustable, so there are no pre-sets to limit your abilities, and it will lock firmly into place for accuracy. It is simple to use; just put your roll on the bar, mark your cut, turn it on and cut through the foil. As the blade naturally dulls, it can be rotated to a new, sharp position. You can buy the foil roll cutter online today. It is compatible with our 24 x 500' foil rolls featuring 1" cores, but can handle any 1" core foil roll up to 1,000 feet long or 4 ½" in diameter. It is an ideal solution for businesses using foil fusing equipment for smaller sheets than the 24" roll, such as business cards, invitations , art prints and much more.
How to Use the Foil Roll Cutter:
① Place your foil roll onto the support shaft with the foil opening facing down, and away from you (toward the blade)
② Press the roll all the way onto the shaft, locking it in place onto the hinged blade
③ Measure and mark the foil to your desired width
④ Position and lock the blade assembly over your mark, then place the blade back into starting position with the blade cover on
⑤ Turn the foil cutter power switch on to spin the roll
⑥ Pull the handle through the spinning roll slowly to cut
⑦ After cutting, place the blade assembly back into the starting position with the blade cover on

To use, place your roll of foil onto the steel shaft with the foil opening facing away from you, and toward the blade.
On the inside end of the shaft is a notch. Make sure this notch is down and press your roll over it to lock the roll in place.
Measure and mark your foil roll where you would like it cut. An expert tip is to wrap a couple layers of masking tape all the way around the foil to help keep it neatly together once cut (though that is now shown in this video)
Move the blade into position, release the safety latch, and align it up to your mark. Lock the blade in place and replace the safety cover.
Now turn on the machine to begin spinning the roll. The blade itself is stationary. Lift the safety cover, and use the handle to press the blade against the roll. Allow the safety cover to fall onto the roll while you cut.
Apply gentle pressure to gradually cut the roll. You will get a feel for the best pressure when you’re using it yourself.
Keep your hand on the left side of the roll while cutting, if it is safe to do so.
You will know the cut is complete when this left roll stops spinning. You may also feel a slight pop when the core is cut.
Now turn the power off and make sure the blade is covered. Lift the shaft and remove your cut rolls – that’s it.
